MY LIFE

My name is Joanna and I was born and raised in a small town called Raunds in the U.K.  After leaving school at 16, I went on to study a BTEC National Diploma in Business Studies for two years.  Since then I have worked for various companies until I decided to work with my partner helping him run his businesses.

In 2002 we decided to buy a property in France and after the birth of our third child we decided to move permanently to enjoy the warmer climate and immerse ourselves in the French culture and way of life.  My three sons have flourished and have grown up speaking English and French fluently, which is a life skill that will create lots of opportunities for them.

While my sons were growing up I embarked on a passion of my own, having always loved the English language and my incredible appetite for reading I decided to start studying again and gained a BA(Hons) in English Language and Literature.  This journey also helped me realise that there was a need for English learning around the world which I believed I could be instrumental in fulfilling by teaching.  I therefore gained my TEFL qualification (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and now help children across the globe to prepare them for their future in our world!
