Designed specifically for online learning, the Abridge Academy curriculum provides children aged 5-16 with highly interactive and engaging lessons, while following a structured step-by-step approach.
Abridge Academy covers multiple learning areas, including;
- Vocabulary and grammar: New words, sentence structures and grammar in every core
curriculum lesson.
- Speaking and listening: Structured dialogues, open-ended discussions and advanced
debating classes.
- Reading and phonics: From beginners phonics lessons and decodable readers, to
interactive stories and guided reading lessons.
- Writing: Spelling practise, writing tasks and project-based learning activities.
The curriculum is aligned with the internationally recognised and research-based CEFR levels, the basis for most national curricula and international exams such as the Cambridge English qualifications.
